WASHINGTON (ChurchMilitant.com) – Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., is slamming eight Republicans for joining Democrats in killing her articles of impeachment against the secretary of Homeland Security.
The following members of the U.S. House of Representatives voted yesterday against Greene’s resolution to impeach Biden administration official Alejandro Mayorkas, keeping him snugly in position:
Rep. Ken Buck, R-Colo.
Rep. Darrell Issa, R-Calif.
Rep. Tom McClintock, R-Calif.
Rep. Patrick McHenry, R-N.C.
Rep. John Duarte, R-Calif.
Rep. Virginia Foxx, R-N.C.
Rep. Cliff Bentz, R-Ore.
Rep. Mike Turner, R-Ohio
Congresswoman Greene expressed disbelief at the decision of her GOP colleagues to redirect the impeachment process back to committee, a move that will result in the death of the resolution.

Speaking to the unprecedented number of illegals crossing the border and the impotence of the GOP to do something about it, the America-first patriot said,
We all know the facts. We know the numbers, and we know how bad the invasion is at the border. Every single day, I serve on the Homeland [Security] Committee, and we’ve done hearing after hearing after hearing. As we have reported and talked to eyewitnesses and interviewed people, we have found out how bad it is at the border.
According to recent government data, illegal immigrants were caught crossing the U.S. southern border more times in the past year than in any other year since at least 1960, when the government started keeping track of the data. What’s more, 2023 represents the third record-setting year in a row. More than 2.4 million illegals were apprehended in the 2023 fiscal year, which ended in September. This tops the previous record, set a year earlier, of more than 2.3 million.
Greene called the failure to move the impeachment process along “unbelievable.”
“Everyone all over America knows how bad this guy is and that he is willfully breaking our laws and allowing the invasion to happen,” she added. “And yet, we can’t get Republicans to impeach Secretary Mayorkas.”
